Start with one short shot
On Fliqen, Seedance 2 Mini at 480p is the lowest-priced model and resolution combination. A 5-second attempt deducts $0.25 from your balance. The minimum 4-second setting costs $0.20.
Generation requires sign-in and paid credits. Mini is a budget starting point, not a promise of the same output quality as another model.

Sources, calculations and upfront payment
Fliqen: $0.90 deducted from balance × ($4.99 paid ÷ $5.00 received) ≈ $0.898 allocated cash cost. The first purchase is still $4.99, not the per-attempt estimate. Allocation assumes you use the purchased balance; larger packs have a different ratio. See current packs.
fal.ai: $0.3034/second × 5 = $1.517, from the standard 720p with audio API price. This does not compare fal's discounted subscription offers.
Segmind: $0.1512/second × 5 = $0.756, from its 720p, 16:9 text/image pricing table; audio has no extra charge. Its pricing page lists a Flexible pay-as-you-go option.
Minimum checkout amounts for the other services were not verified, so these bars compare per-attempt estimates, not the amount you must spend to start. Listed model names do not establish identical hosting, output quality, queue speed, support or usage terms. Those were not tested. Recheck source pages before buying; this is a dated snapshot.
The Mini result is different: at 720p, 16:9 and 5 seconds, Fliqen's Starter-allocated cost is about $0.549, while Segmind publishes $0.0378/second, or $0.189 for 5 seconds, with audio included. Segmind's listed rate is lower. Choose by the tier you actually intend to use.
Seedance cost per video, including repeat attempts
Generation cost = model rate × duration. Resolution changes the rate. The table shows balance deductions for repeated attempts at the same settings, in USD; five attempts do not guarantee five usable final videos.

A lower-cost workflow: draft before increasing resolution
If 480p is sufficient to judge the motion, you can budget four Mini drafts at 5 seconds and 480p, then one new Mini generation at 5 seconds and 720p. The planned balance use is $1.55: four × $0.25 plus $0.55.
For comparison, five Mini attempts at 5 seconds and 720p use $2.75. These are two illustrative budgets, not a measured saving or equal-quality comparison. A new 720p generation may change the composition and need further attempts; this is not an upscale of the chosen draft.

An affordable image-to-video starting point
For a short product or photo animation, upload an image you have permission to use, select Mini, 480p and 5 seconds, and describe a small movement. On Fliqen, text and image inputs use the same rate for the same model, resolution and duration.

This is a suggested prompt, not a tested output example. Check that the object retains its shape before spending on a longer version. Fliqen currently offers 480p and 720p output; it does not offer 1080p or 4K settings.
